EVENT HOURS
The fair runs from 11:00am to 6:00pm, with alcohol service wrapping up at 5:45pm.
ENTRY
Tickets are required for everyone, including children, and each guest will receive a wristband that lets you come and go as you please. Feel free to explore nearby markets and shops outside the fair area. Kids under 12 are free but must always be with an adult.
AFTER THE FAIR
Once the fair closes, stick around! The street will stay closed to traffic so you can enjoy live music from buskers and a sunset light installation. Try the Victoria Hotel, Salt Café and Bar, or Bay Pizzaria—reservations recommended for dinner. You can also grab takeout from local spots or our street vendors. Just a heads-up: alcohol isn’t permitted on the streets or beach after 6:00pm.
GOOD TO KNOW
Weather We’re here, rain or shine! Be sure to dress for the weather.

Accessibility The fair grounds are fully accessible, with dedicated parking, wheelchair access, and accessible toilets. For specific questions, email us at event@bayfestival.com.au.
Parking There’s plenty of street parking around Port MacDonnell. We’ll share more info on the best spots as we get closer to the event.
Food and drink Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed inside the fair. Our vendors, who make the festival possible, have you covered with a variety of options—including local seafood and dishes to suit all ages and tastes.
Alcohol While you can’t bring your own alcohol, vendors will have a fantastic selection of wines, beers, and cocktails available for purchase.

Onsite payments Tickets will be available at the gate (card payments will have a small surcharge). Some vendors may be cash-only, and there are ATMs at the Community Complex, Port MacDonnell General Store, and Victoria Hotel.
Ticket refunds Refunds for purchased tickets are available through the Humanitix ticketing site until one month before the event. After this period, refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled by the organiser.
Pets Only accredited assistance dogs are allowed within the fair area.
Children We don’t provide supervision, so children under 12 must always stay with a responsible adult.

Transportation Need a ride home? Thanks to the City of Mount Gambier, buses to Mount Gambier will be available. Book in advance through our ticketing system, as seats are limited.
